Hi, Polly here, just wanted to thank everyone for a fab time at the summer school in Italy. I really enjoyed myself and it was great to try out some new styles of dance. It was really fun to travel from Greece to Italy as I haven't traveled far before. I made lots of new friends and we still stay in touch.

HELLO! SUMMER SCHOOL WAS JUST SOOO AWESOME!
I was told by my teacher, that Summer School is coming to Singapore! and it's like once in every few years and I thought that it was a great oppounity and decided to give it a go :) I never knew that it will be sooo funnn :) My musical threater teacher was Miss Shelia :) we had our summer school at sylvia mcully school of dancing and the studio was big :)) I enjoyed ballet and character the most as I usually do them and I love them :) It was taught by Mrs Demount :) A few days ago, I have just recieve a letter of participation from England! It was like a once in a life time chance for me :) I wanna go Brazil for the 2011 Summer School!

I really enjoyed my RAD summer school in Edinburgh. My group got on really well,everyone was laughing. I made loads more friends. I am thrilled to have had this opportunity to make new friends and to explore different types of dance. I hope I can have this opportunity again next year.

I will always remember how everyone in my group was always smiling or laughing. We have all made very strong friendships. I have met people who have similar interest as me not only from England but from all over the world. I have learnt different languages: Italian, French, Spanish and Cantonese. RAD summer school has been brilliant and everyone who was involved has been brilliant too.

Considering I am a relatively shy person, I thought it was going to be really hard to make friends. But then I met my room mate, and she was lovely and gave me the confidence to talk to other people. Now I have lots of friends from all nationalities and we plan to stay in touch.

It was a wonderful experience having met many new people from different parts of the world. In addition, I was able to experience a range of contrasting dance styles, which I feel is very useful for today’s dancers. The summer school experience has made me feel more comfortable with different dance styles, such as contemporary and musical theatre performance.

It has been a terrific experience! I have learnt a great deal about different styles of dance and I have made lots of new friends. Special memories I will always treasure will be the times I spent with my friends, without them, I wouldn’t have had as much fun as I have had. I will always remember my dance teachers and house mothers who have been excellent throughout the week! I will always remember our trip to the theatre. It was really exciting and I really enjoyed myself. The disco was also great fun.

My experience of the Academy has been very enjoyable. I have learnt new dance styles and techniques, which have been taught with great enthusiasm. I enjoyed the disco the most, because it gave all the overseas students the chance to bond using dance/singing instead of communicating through language.

From all the nice teachers to all their good tips, from enjoying myself to learning something, it all built up to a good experience. I especially liked the creative class because our teacher Nikki was really funny and came up with wicked ideas!

Thank you all for an amazing week. I enjoyed every minute. The classes were fab, I learned so much. Footloose was brilliant, the disco was so much fun and you guys are some of the loveliest kindest people I have ever met. I won’t forget you, hopefully I will see you again next year. Words cannot describe how I felt when my name was read out to receive the Tuition Award. I felt so happy inside all I could do is smile – I’m still smiling now.
